This is a navigable prototype of Redactor — the legal-document redaction platform that displaces Adobe Acrobat for litigation paralegals and attorneys. Click through to demo the workspace; mark anything that should change with the Bug Catcher widget (bottom-right of every screen).
Redactor is a two-layer AI redaction platform: Layer 1 handles compliance — automatic PII / PHI / privilege detection against deterministic rules. Layer 2 is the differentiator — case-context-aware suggestions grounded in the user's case theory, with ethical guardrails and an immutable audit trail. Every redaction is true content destruction (not a black overlay), with malpractice-grade defensibility.
The prototype walks the core redaction surface: pages panel, document canvas with live annotations, and the right-hand assistant with Suggestions, Assistant chat, and Activity Log tabs. Bates labeling and redaction style are configured per-document via the modal.
Auto-detect PII, PHI, account numbers, and privileged fragments against deterministic rules. Reviewer accepts, rejects, or refines.
Case-theory-aware AI flags content harmful to the user's narrative or that exposes work product. Reviewer disposition required for every flag.
Box, lasso, and find-and-redact tooling for anything the AI missed. True content destruction at apply.
Per-document Bates configuration (prefix, start, padding), redaction styling, and audit-trail export bundled with the produced document.
Activity Log tab — immutable per-redaction record (who, when, why, source). Read-only; exports with the produced document.
AI cannot suggest hiding information that creates an ethical violation. Layer 2 shows ethical concerns inline before any action.
